GLP-1 (7-37) Acetate
GLP-1 (7-37) Acetate
Cat#: CFGP-023
Molecular Formula:C151H228N40O47
Relative Molecular Mass:3355.71 g/mol
CAS No:106612-94-6 (net)
Long-term Storage:-20 ± 5°C
Synonyms:Glucagon-Like Peptide 1 (7-37)
Sequence:H-His-Ala-Glu-Gly-Thr-Phe-Thr-Ser-Asp-Val-Ser-Ser-Tyr-Leu-Glu-Gly-Gln-Ala-Ala-Lys-Glu-Phe-Ile-Ala-Trp-Leu-Val-Lys-Gly-Arg-Gly-OH acetate salt
Fields of Application:Diabetes II - not yet an approved application
Active Substance:GLP-1 (7-37) is an insulinotropic peptide generated from the precursor peptide GLP-1 (1-37). After ingestion of a meal, the truncated bioactive sequences GLP-1 (7-37) and GLP-1 (7-36) amide are secreted by the L cells of the intestinal mucosa.
Administration of GLP-1 (7-37) acetate augments glucose-induced insulin secretion and simultaneously inhibits glucagon secretion and gastric emptying
